- 1 cup fresh cilantro loosely packed including stems
- 2 jalapeños stemmed seeded for less heat if desired
- 2 cloves garlic peeled
- 2 tbsp lime juice freshly squeezed
- ½ cup mayonnaise or substitute with Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup queso fresco or Parmesan crumbled
- 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin preferred
- ¼ tsp salt or to taste
Wash and chop the cilantro and jalapeños.
Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor.
Blend until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Taste and adjust salt, lime juice, or jalapeños for flavor and heat.
Transfer to a jar or container, and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
